Law of Moral Scaling
How we treat one another scales to how nations treat each other.
If you haven't learned how to conduct yourself respectfully, morally, and honourably in your daily life, then you haven't learned how to conduct yourself with peace.
If a nation hasn't learned how to conduct itself respectfully, morally, and honourably in its daily life, then it hasn't learned how to conduct itself with peace.
As a consequence of this law, a civilization that hasn't learned how to conduct itself peacefully will destroy itself (and possibly its planet) given enough time.
Applied Law of Thought
Learning Right and Wrong
We are all on this planet to learn what to do and what not to do. To learn right from wrong.
Every side of every thought we think is tested against our rightness mind in every combination of time, condition, and place, to build the knowledge of what to do and what not to do.
A large collection of thoughts consciously mastered in this way build a "knowledge mountain".
If these thoughts were categorized, grouped, and ranked by desire, and then drawn as a hierarchical tree, we could also use the term "tree of knowledge".
We all climb the tree of knowledge to learn how to conduct ourselves peacefully so that we can exit Nature.
It must be this way, and cannot be any other way, because in the next realm we have the ability to modify the environment by thinking.
How do we conduct ourselves in an ethereal environment so as not to cause injury to any being, even accidentally? By learning peace.
While this knowledge is optional on Earth, it is required to evolve. If practiced on Earth at a large enough scale, peace on Earth can be had.
Law of Peace
A specific collection of thoughts are required for knowledge of peace, though more is always better.
They are self-respect, morality, and honour, and these thoughts form the Character Triad.
Learning the Character Triad in conjunction with the Law of Moral Scaling helps with learning how to conduct oneself peacefully and is a prerequisite for nations to learn how to conduct themselves peacefully.
Following the path of peace does not mean being a pacifist, being nice, or being weak.
Peace itself is part of the thought of peace-war, and like all thoughts, there is the "what to do" and "what not to do" dynamic to learn.
There is a right way and a wrong way to be peaceful.
The thought must be balanced for proper development which means the war side must be developed in oneself to be able to secure peace.
It is tempered by the Character Triad and by sufficently developed discipline so as to control it and not be a menace.
Peace is achieved when we have learned sufficiently what to do and what not to do.
A peaceful being will do that which ought to be done and will not do that which shall not be done, and will not desire to cross these paths, because they know that such a crossing will not work.
Peace is the natural result of sufficiently proper development.
As a consequence of this law, those who have not developed themselves sufficiently cannot be peaceful because they lack sufficient knowledge in what to do and what not to do.
This will be especially true if they lack knowledge in respect, morality, and honour, and how actions scale.
In their ignorance and confusion, there is a high probability they will be disrespectful, immoral, dishonourable, make stupid excuses, and engage in violent behaviours up to and including deception, rape, and war.
As such people have not tempered themselves with self-control, have no knowledge of self, and have no capacity of any kind of mastery over Nature, we necessarily consider them children, and if persistent, insane.
Conflict Resolution
Part of peace is knowing how to deal with conflict.
There are two ways to solve conflict: through war and through peace:
- The war side solves conflict through force, by subduing its source. This is seen in arbitration, the courts, and physical war.
- The peace side solves conflict through retreat, by rebuking its source. This is seen in condemnation, separation, and self-determination.
Self-determination is known as the peaceful settlement of dispute because it addresses the conflict caused by a confused and violent nation towards its own people without resorting to war.
In order to maintain peace, countries that have agreed to recognize self-determination efforts will make space for the new entity to emerge.
To not make such space would leave those pursuing a peaceful resolution to a large dispute with no other recourse but to go to war.
It is here that a kind of immunity can be found for those who consciously choose the path of peace and honour in the development of a new compact.
Their rules can't harm you if you are not of them.
Be in the world but not of it.
