At the dawn of a new age, This Brave Soul recognized a world in peril and threw off its formless chains. It disolved the bonds holding it in ignorance, endeavoured to take control of its destiny, and willed itself to ever higher pursuits. What was once enslaved is now free.

The journey is not easy. It requires knowledge and mastery of self, the repair of wounds old and new, and vigilance against those who will forever attack This Brave Soul for its conscious light.

To that end, the ability to stand on truth in law must be developed and cherished. This Brave Soul must learn the laws of the universe it inhabits, including and especially those laws that govern itself such as how it works, how it thinks, and how it interacts with others. It is on these laws that This Brave Soul’s destiny is assured, its freedom and liberty guaranteed, and it exists in harmony with its mind, psyche, and body.

This Brave Soul pledges to itself to learn these laws, practice techniques that work with them, and employ them in everyday life for its own healthy development and protection.

This Brave Soul is the signatory to this pledge. A Triune Self.

Self-Respect are actions This Brave Soul takes to protect itself from itself. In particular: to trust itself, to protect itself, to own itself, to value itself, to know itself, and to love itself, and above all, to never betray itself.

Morality are actions This Brave Soul takes to exist peacefully with others. In particular: to know right from wrong, to abstain from doing wrong, and to counter wrong actions against itself whenever, wherever, and however they occur.

Honour are actions This Brave Soul takes to prevent and avoid any kind of theft. In particular: theft of the truth, theft of time, theft of labour, theft of property, theft of autonomy, and theft of life.

The Character Triad is the symmetric grouping of Self-Respect, Morality, and Honour.

The Pledge to the Soul is a promise you make to yourself to repair and sustain your mental health. It contains a number of clues about the journey and supplies you with some necessary tools for this task.

These tools are very important because they help you navigate reality in such a way that you avoid taking mental damage. Excessive mental damage can take root in your thought process and cause a corruption in your being. Cognitive warfare is very much a thing in this world and the Character Triad will protect you from it. It will protect you from everything Nature has to throw at you.

There is a freedom dynamic as well. Those who will not govern themselves will be governed by others, out of necessity, as they are likely to engage in violent and depraved behaviours in their confusion. The Pledge to the Soul helps you get back on track, stay on track, develop the discipline to secure your freedom, and find your way towards higher pursuits.
