Automated Direct Democracy
A Triune Democracy is an automated direct democracy. You bring the change you want to see.
The system processes proposals to ensure they are reasonable, right, conscionable, and balanced.
The automated nature of the system and procedural guarantee of the quality of proposals mitigates the incessant need to vote on every single issue in a typical direct democracy.
Leadership is obtained from the people who may make proposals if they are qualified. Leadership is also obtained from a unified Council and occasionally a Paragon.
Triune Self
A Triune Democracy is modelled after a Triune Self. You are a Triune Self. It is your internal operation -- your soul. You have a process that facilitates proper thinking and adaptation in your being.
A Triune Democracy scales that process up to the civilizational level so that the society may think in aggregate and reason its way through time.
As this system reflects your own internal operation, it is hoped that it will one day inspire and uplift the people just by them watching its operation.
The system looks complicated, but if you know how you work, it is actually pretty simple. It is just the loop of the thought process scaled up.
Respect
Triune Democracies are built around respect. You operate in a certain way.
The corruption of that way causes damage to your being which manifests as psychological and mental health issues as well as corrupted thinking.
Self-respect are actions you take to prevent damage to your being; to keep your self in proper working order.
The proper practice of self-respect prevents psychological and mental disorders and also prevents corruption to your being and thus your thinking and this is why you never, ever allow anything to breach your boundaries.
Scaled up, the practices of self-respect, morality, and honour, encoded in the Triune Democratic way of running a society, ensure that the society itself never becomes corrupted and damaged.
This in turn leads to a way of leadership that does not cause harm.
Issuer Involvement
The issuer of a proposal will be frequently involved as the proposal makes its way through the system.
There is a circuit in the system and all proposals go through it at least once, but many proposals may go through the circuit several times.
Every time there is a change to a proposal, it must go through the circuit again.
Each time there is a change or refinement, the issuer will be involved to guide the change, approve the change, or even make the change.
Sometimes the issuer will have to defend their proposal. Other times he or she will have to educate the people.
Local System
Smaller versions of the Triune Democratic system are available for small towns. Local offices can be networked with the main offices to make the power of this system available in your local community.
The system can run with as few as six people.
Elections and Representation
Representation is achieved via the Council of Witness, which uses qualified elected representatives. The Council is balanced by region, race, or other criteria, and by sex.
The lowest leadership level of the Office of Manifestation is also an elected position for people who are qualified.
All other positions in this system are filled based on qualifications and need, like any job.
Anti-Corrupt By Design
Triune Democracies are far more complex than the current three-branch design found in representative democracies. It is not merely a system of "checks and balances", but one of "anti-corruption by design".
There are six offices (Identity, Rightness, Conscience, Priorities, Realization, Reason) and a Council dedicated to ensuring that no proposal is corrupt in any way before it is implemented, and two offices (Identity, Aia)
that specifically look for corruption after-the-fact. The entire process is one of refinement and narrowing to arrive at the best possible course of action.
The Office of Identity has its own police force to specifically attack corruption within the system and they have the ability to dismantle and rebuild corrupt offices from their templates as needed.
No singular office can apprehend the system and wield power. All are limited to their functions and only their functions are required for the system to operate.
Only the Paragon can commandeer the entire system, but he or she can only do so if he or she is supremely qualified and has risked his or her life several times, and even then, the Paragon serves under a sword of Damocles.
There is a rock-paper-scissors dynamic between the Office of Identity, the Paragon, and the Council of Witness to further mitigate corruption in these three core offices.
Every position is guarded by a test of character that specifically evaluates people on how corruptible they are. Elections do not prove qualifications!
We test their beings to ensure they are operating correctly because the slightest deviation can be manipulated by enemy actors and used to control them and corrupt the system.
Even if someone were to game the character test successfully, the system will not allow them to gain control.
Lastly, it truly is a system for the people. There is no royal lineage, no family dynasties, and no party politics that get in the way of navigating a Triune Democratic civilization in this reality through time.
